At the cinema
Fun things about our house:
Double beds!
TV with TV license!
No worries about broken lifts!
Bathtub!
Un-fun things about our house:
Dirty! So very, very dirty. Ick.
Jana and myself, during the intermission or “interval” of Phantom of the Opera, proving that you shouldn’t take us nice places.
Marina is moving back to France on Monday :( and is leaving us her crepe pan, so she came over this evening to teach us how to make crepes. Mmmm! (Family: click on the pictures to see big versions/captions.)
Things I love today, in no particular order: tea, life, flatmates.
— Jana, on how fast the year has gone by
Home again, home again! Ndoliwe had a beautiful feast waiting for us to eat as soon as we arrived (and don’t worry, mom, I helped with the dishes and thanked her about 150 times). All showered, unpacked, and ready to crash.
Gonna re-name today “Fun Times in the Kitchen With Noma and Ndoliwe.” My flatmates are the best!
I have reached a milestone: for the first time in the history of my writing papers, my first draft is TOO LONG to be turned in. WHO IS THIS POINTY-HEADED ACADEMIC AND WHAT HAS SHE DONE WITH ME
All those people posting about how excited they are to go on spring break are gonna be well jeal* at the end of next week when I go on Easter break FOR A MONTH.
Well jeal = very jealous
